It’s ok. I love that there are a lot of colors, but honestly once they go on many look the same. The colors do not show up very pigmented. It seems I could get the same look by doing regular color with a pearlizer on top or mixed into a translucent regular paint. A lot of cheaper metallics do this where it’s regular translucent pigmented paint, all with the same color or mica pigment (white) and I think that’s what’s happening here with these colors. Although the mica is so fine it’s hard to tell for certain on some. I like that the metallic or pearl mica in it is very fine so it doesn’t look sparkly like glitter. Some paints do large particles of mica and it’s just not my taste. I think it’s a fine set for the variety and price, but I certainly do not think it’s worth the hype of 5 stars and rave reviews I’ve seen here claiming it’s so pigmented 🤷🏼‍♀️. It’s just not as you can see.Other paint brands on the unicorn rainbow wands in my picture are “masters touch” for red, “created” for orange, “golden” for yellow, “folk art color shift” for green, “extreme sheen” for blue and purple. Finding good reds/orange that don’t look pink is hard. And purples that aren’t just colored with silver is hard too. I’ve found”jacquard lumier” to be the most vibrant metallics for my purposes, but so expensive in full size and I don’t like the mix in their sampler packs. Time to save for some I guess. One by one.
